So here’s a bit of strange movie news I never thought I would be reporting. Warner Bros. is teaming up with The WWE to co-produce a new animated Scooby-Doo feature-length film for DVD. Apparently the story will revolve around a mystery that involves WrestleMania.

The only way I can make sense of this is that back in the original Scooby-Doo animated series, the Mystery gang would team up with famous celebrities and sports stars to help solve some of their mysteries. I imagine this is what they plan on doing here.

The WWE has already lined up an all star wrestling voice cast that includes, Triple H, John Cena, Kane, The Miz, Brodus Clay, Santino Marella, Sin Cara, AJ, and WWE chairman/CEO Vince McMahon.

My kids love all of this Scooby-Doo stuff, and I’m sure they’ll be wanting a piece of this Scooby-Doo action. It’s been years since I’ve seen any episodes myself.
