Happy Birthday to the man who started me on Doctor Who – TOM BAKER!!!

Best known for being the 4th Doctor Who, today is the 82nd birthday for Tom Baker.

Tom played Doctor Who from 1974 to 1981 and was known for his eccentric style of dress and quirky personality (particularly his trademark long scarf and fondness for jelly babies.

He was the first Doctor that was seen in the U.S. which brought the popularity of Doctor Who to that country.

He returned to Doctor Who in the 50th anniversary special, The Day of the Doctor, in 2013, playing a character who calls himself The Curator.

Always one of the most well known and popular Doctor Who, we wish him a very happy birthday!
